Dual Curriculum That Prepares for the World — and for Life
At Morphoo School, we combine the global outlook of the Cambridge International Syllabus with the cultural depth of Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum. This integration equips students with academic excellence, strong character, and critical thinking — preparing them not just for exams, but for real life.
What Does “Dual Curriculum” Mean at Morphoo?
At Morphoo School, our Dual Curriculum blends the Cambridge International Syllabus with Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum to deliver the best of both worlds. While Cambridge builds global competencies through academic rigor, Merdeka emphasizes national values, character education, and cultural appreciation.
This approach is more than just meeting academic standards — it’s about developing students who are confident, adaptable, and grounded in both local and global contexts. Through this integrated model, students gain skills in communication, collaboration, creative thinking, and self-management — preparing them not only for higher education, but also for life.

The Cambridge Syllabus is an internationally recognised curriculum that shapes the education of students from age 5 to 19. The curriculum allows students to focus on subjects based on their strengths and interests.
The Cambridge Syllabus
The curriculum is flexible, meaning each stage can be offered on its own by a school and students can choose to transition to another curriculum after a certain stage. This flexibility also means students can begin their studies in one country and complete them in another. Schools have the option to adapt the Cambridge Syllabus’ academic content to suit their students’ local needs and contexts.
The Merdeka Curriculum
The Indonesia Merdeka Curriculum is a flexible curriculum framework that focuses on essential materials and developing students' character and competencies. The main characteristic of the curriculum that supports the recovery of this learning is project- based learning for the development of soft skills and character according to the profile of Pancasila Students.
Students focus on essential material so that they have sufficient time to study in depth various basic competencies such as literacy and numeracy. Teachers are more flexible to carry out differentiated learning according to the abilities of students, adapt it to local contexts, and content.
